As summer comes we know we are getting the best time of the year, the days are lengthening, the weather improves and the festival season begins!
One of the great attractions of Europe, both for natives and tourists, are the great music festivals that last for days or even weeks and are so attractive that count with the presence of thousands and thousands of people.
Of course they have some negatives like the long queues, the high possibility of losing your friends in the crowd and how far away the festival camping area can be, but really worth it!

Sziget Festival in Budapest, Hungary
Can you imagine a whole week on an island, plagued by singers, tents and festivalgoers? Attractive, right?
It takes place in Budapest between 9 and 16 August and promises 7 intense days and incredible artists such as Nervo, Paul Vandyk, Pj Harvey, Flume, Tom Odell, The Kills and many more artists. Undoubtedly it is one of the most important electronic music festivals in Europe.
Tomorrowland is undoubtedly one of the most well-known festivals in the world, it is said to be the festival of electronic music festivals. In 2005 was its first edition and from there it has not stopped growing, increasing year by year the capacity to accommodate people and the amount of scenarios.
This year’s edition will be held from 21 to 30 July in Boom, Belgium and some of the artists to be presented are Axwell / Ingrosso, Tiesto, Steve Aoki, Marco V, Paul Van Dyk, wAFF, Adam Beyer, Alesso , Disciples, Dr Rude and many more artists.
This festival is also attractive to DreamVille, this differentiates it from traditional festival campsites as it has good restaurants and even a festival festival.
The Optimus Alive
The Optimus Alive is the international indie pop rock scene and takes place on the Passeig Marítimo Algés in Portugal between 6 and 8 July. This festival has several stages and this year will have the presentations of Bonobo, Ryan Adams, Rhye, Miguel Araújo, The Kills and Foo Fighters, among others.
Lollapalooza is a festival that is known all over the world. It started in Chicago and because of its success it was expanded by many countries arriving in Berlin of course. One of the things that characterizes it is the variety of musical styles and the quality of artists that always present themselves.
This summer’s edition will be on 9 and 10 September at Rennbahn Hoppergarten, Berlin and will feature Hardwell, Cro, Materia, Beatsteaks, and there will also be Foo Fighters.
